Blooms almost all year round, with the peak bloom in summer in a variety of colors. Pink is the most common color in Israel. In spring, the plant sends out new threads from the base of the plant and the dormant buds begin to bloom again.
The flowers open from tubers that were formed the previous year. When flowering is over, the flowering stem should be cut back to the first section.
