A little about the winery:
The Har Odem Winery was established in 2003 when Michael, the father of the family, saw in his vision how the entire family
could come together for a shared endeavor and establish a family life's work. The vineyards of the Har Odem Winery are planted with internationally recognized varieties, but the way they are cared for and cultivated causes them to achieve a result that is surprising
and particularly exquisite. The personal and direct acquaintance of Adam Alfasi, the winery's winemaker, with each and every piece of the vineyard allows him to manage meticulous and deliberate cultivation so that each vine receives the optimal conditions to become the ultimate wine.
About the wine:
Alfasi wine is the winery's flagship wine, with a depth of flavors and many qualities that it holds. Its color is intense red and you can feel the aroma of black berries and plums and the flavors of earth and fresh Mediterranean spices. A full-bodied wine with a soft and velvety finish and a long, powerful and pleasant finish. It is a great partner for rich dishes such as roast beef with caramelized shallots, or roasted lamb shank, casseroles and strong cheeses. The wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels.
