A little about the winery:
The story that began with Jacob's blessing and continued with the raspberry bush in the Rosenberg family garden became a winery that stands in the center of Gush Etzion in 2005 and proudly represents the fine terroir of the high mountain region of the Judean Mountains. Gush Etzion Winery is the renewal of the glorious Jewish wine and agricultural tradition that has existed in the region for centuries and aims to establish the Gush Etzion region as one of the most important and fertile wine regions in Israel and the world.
About the wine:
A rich, complex and special wine. Intense red color, the wine has a high aroma intensity with ripe fruit and a developed bouquet, which is expressed in the aromas of tobacco, chocolate, smoked meat and spices. A full-bodied, rich and complex wine, with tough but round tannins and a long and complex finish. The wine was aged for 21 months in French oak barrels. This special wine was made from the finest grapes harvested in the 2017 harvest. Under proper storage conditions, it can age for an additional 10 years. Additional details:
